Hearts and Hooves of the Berkshires is an Organization that brings Miniature Horses into nursing homes, hospitals, hospices, and anywhere therapeutic healing is needed. We believe that by bringing these tiny horses to those most in need of comfort and love increases the quality of life for us all.
Love Trots In On Tiny Hooves
These specially trained therapy animals are a most welcome sight to the shut ins, sick children and nursing home residents that they visit on a regular basis. Imagine the delight the residents and patients feel when they see these gentle, loving mini horses coming down the hall. Eyes light up, hands reach out and for just a moment in time those needing care and those giving care come together, all receiving the special blessing these creatures bring.
